Deaf community member Brice Pruyn testified before the Montgomery County Commission about accessibility barriers, emphasizing that ASL interpreters are essential for equal participation in government meetings and emergencies. Advocate Artie Terrell Grassman joined him, stressing that written captions alone are not enough since English is not the primary language for many deaf individuals.

ASL 1 (Tuesdays) & ASL 2 (Thursdays), 7:00–8:30pm EST, online. $80 for 8 weeks, taught by a Deaf native ASL user. Sessions start 8/18 and 8/20.
